D'banj and VEVO

Nigerian pop star D’banj has scored many feats in his career; from receiving international awards to collaborating with international acts and eventually signing up with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music.

The 31-year-old is keeping the trend going as he has now joined the select list of Nigerian acts that have their videos on the international music video website VEVO.

VEVO offers music videos from three of the ‘big four’ major record labels: Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and EMI. The videos on VEVO are syndicated across the web, with Google and VEVO sharing the advertising revenue.

D’banj joined VEVO on January 28, 2012 with his star-studded ‘Oliver’ video uploaded on March 19.
